Ukraine rebels take control of crash victims remains
Rebels in eastern Ukraine took full control Sunday of the bodies recovered from downed Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, as European leaders issued a strong call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to make sure international investigators had full access to the crash site.
International monitors said armed rebels limited their access to the site and Ukrainian officials pointed to separatists taking the bodies away from their workers by force.
The wave of international outrage over how the bodies of the plane crash victimswere being handled came amid fears that the armed rebels who control the crash site could be tampering with the evidence there.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told a news conference twenty-seven more bodies were found Sunday along with 20 fragments of bodies at the site where the Malaysian airliner crashed.
